I have kept these jeans forever like this.  They were so cumfy fitting that I knew i would eventually use them for something.

First thing was to cut the pants into shorts by folding them to be sure that both sides were of equal length.

Then the fun began.  I just randomly started ripping wholes with a pair of scissors.

The key was to keep switching from an up and down pattern to a side too side.

I also ruffed up the pocket a little.

And my finished product.  I could have made the holes larger but I think a few time sin the wash should do the trick.

My daughter wants a pair now!!
