Free Skirt
What could be more thrifty than taking things you already have that are boken or just not being used and turning them into something useful. My daughter Grace was trying to pull down a dress from the closet that she wanted to wear and ripped it:( It was one of her favorites!!
I also had this pair of pants that she never wears for 2 reasons, 1 she doesn't like the way they feel (she has issues) and 2 I just don't like the style of them
.
So I married the two and they became one adorable skirt (that my daughter has worn for the past 3 days) She loves it!!!
First I cut off the top.
Then cut off the bottoms.
This isn't the greatest picture but it was important that the seems lined up.
Here is the new skirt. The pants were a bit large for her waste but that just means they will last longer.
